Who are we?
Mid Mod Original Vintage opened its doors in January 2017, in the Lapa neighbourhood of Lisbon, curated by Henrique Salgado. Henrique's career in advertising, photography, and interior project management sparked his interest in 50s, 60s, and 70s design - leading to the creation of Mid Mod. Here, you will find an eclectic mix of original Mid Century Modern pieces by internationally acclaimed designers, characterised by their distinctive design in which elegant lines intersect with vibrant colour - all hand-picked by Henrique.
What Do We Offer?
Every item in our collection is thoroughly researched to verify its origins and authenticity, giving our customers access to a wealth of unique 20th century pieces - each with their own story to tell. At Mid Mod, we want to share their stories with you in the hope that each object can be given a new life!
In addition to our showroom collection, we offer a range of bespoke services to provide our clients with a holistic design experience.

Our Collaborations
Mid Mod greatly values the connection between art and design, and regularly collaborates with young contemporary Portuguese and international artists, such as Sebastião Lobo, Pedro Batista, Vanessa Teodoro, Krus, Fulvio Capurso, among others.
In 2022, a partnership with Galeria Eritage was established, which has seen pieces from artists David Shillinglaw, Delia Hamer, Expanded Eye, Acidum Project and JAS displayed at Mid Mod. Subscribe to our newsletter to stay in the know about upcoming collaborations!
Where Can You Find Us?
