BD Lumica Katia Table Lamp Brass Glass Green Stone Shade Spanish Glamour 1970s

SKU: 911

This striking table lamp, model Katia, was produced by BD Lumica in Barcelona during the 1970s. Designed in the glamorous style associated with Willy Rizzo, it embodies the bold, architectural lines and luxurious materials that defined Spanish high-end lighting of the decade.
The lamp rests on a stepped rectangular base in glossy brass with contrasting black lacquered details. Rising from the base, a sculptural centerpiece in black opaline glass is inset with a dramatic green-toned stone detail on both sides—each example unique, giving the lamp its individual character. The column and fittings continue in brass, complementing the geometric form with warm metallic tones.
It retains its original trapezoidal canvas shade, which displays age-related signs of wear (documented in photos), adding authenticity and vintage presence. Equipped with three light points and a dimmer switch, the lamp delivers generous illumination while maintaining a warm, sophisticated atmosphere.
The piece carries the BD Lumica maker’s stamp, confirming its provenance. Overall in good vintage condition, with minor wear consistent with age. This Katia lamp is both a functional lighting piece and a statement object—an exceptional example of 1970s Spanish modern glamour.
