This floor lamp, model Globe, was designed in the late fifties by Frank Ligtelijn, a jewellery designer, for Raak, in Holland. It was a big success and they were produced for many years. The glass globe of this Raak globe floor lamp was used for several table lamps, pendant lamps, chandeliers and wall lamps. Three colours of glass existed: grey violet, smoked brown or bright natural glass. This floor lamp has the transparent glass globe that is set on a white structure. It can be redirected in several directions. The glass globe has no chips or cracks. In original and good vintage condition.
