Grin Luz Arc Table Lamp by Luis Perez de la Oliva, 1960's Spain
This rare arc table lamp was designed by Luis Pérez de la Oliva for Grin Luz in 1960s Spain, and stands as a prime example of the era’s refined Spanish modernist lighting. The composition combines strong architectural presence with high-quality materials: a dramatic black marble base anchors the piece with sculptural weight, while the polished chrome arc provides a sleek visual counterpoint. A small crack is present on one edge of the marble, as shown in the images, though it is discreet and does not detract from the lamp’s overall integrity.
The deep green enameled aluminum shade features a smooth, domed silhouette, evoking the aerodynamic lines characteristic of many Grin Luz and Fase designs from the same period. Beneath it, a textured glass diffuser gently disperses the light, creating a soft and atmospheric glow ideal for desks or ambient lighting.
This lamp is entirely original and remains in very good vintage condition. Its form, material palette, and functionality place it firmly within the lineage of celebrated Spanish lighting design of the 1960s—a striking and collectible piece that offers both visual impact and practical use.
