This table lamp was designed and produced by JUMO Brevete in France, during the 1930s.
JUMO's name comes from Yves Jujeau and Pierre and André Mounique, founders of the JUMO company. Commonly referred to as a "Bolide" for its streamline postwar lamp design. It has a copper and chrome plated arm which is adjustable in height. The switch is activated automatically when the lamp is opened or closed. With a byonet lamp socket. Underside with manufacturer’s mark. In original and good vintage condition.
