Original Sollux Table Lamp by Hanau, 1950's

Originally designed and manufactured in Germany as a medical lamp for light therapy, this striking sunlamp comes with all its original features. The original 150w Radium bulb is replaced to a normal domestic Led bulb and can be used as a spotlight.
Painted aluminum body with a Bakelite base. The direction of the lamp can be adjusted up and down. This timeless design would be great as a desktop lamp or as a gorgeous atmospheric light in your house.
A perfect example of the retro movement of the 1950’s, with streamline design.
The lamp is in good and original vintage condition, with light wear consistent with age and use. In full working order with original cardboard box.
