The Saturno Table Lamp by Kazuo Motozawa for Staff Leuchten is a stunning vintage piece from the 1970s. The lamp features a sleek white painted metal base and tube, topped with a unique mushroom-shaped lampshade made of slat rings. The lamp emits an indirect light that creates a glare-free illumination, perfect for setting a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The lamp has one standard socket for an E27 bulb, located inside the central metal lid on top. This stunning piece is perfect for adding a touch of retro-chic to any living space.

 

Kazuo Motozawa was born in Saitama, near Tokyo, Japan in 1945. He graduated from the Musashino Junior College Craft and Industrial Design Department in 1968. After his studies he designed several lamps for Yamagiwa. From 1977 until 1985 he was the director of LD Yamagiwa Laboratory. In 1987 Motozawa established HALO Design Laboratory, Inc. Kazuo Motozawa exhibited frequently and achieved many awards.
