In the early months of 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic posed challenges, yet gave rise to an inspiring interior design project. Set in Lisbon's charming Graça neighborhood, this venture encapsulated the essence of mid-century design while navigating the challenges of transforming a home during a global crisis.
Upon Fabrice’s arrival in Lisbon, he brought with him a vision for his new space, and a collection of cherished mid-century pieces. Collaborating closely with Fabrice, we embarked on a journey to source and integrate the mid-century gems that seamlessly complemented his existing treasures - transforming the apartment into a haven of comfort and sophistication.
Recognizing the significance of bringing nature indoors, Fabrice additionally tasked Mid Mod with devising a proposal to infuse the living space with greenery. By selecting plants well-suited to the apartment's luminous environment, these additions imparted a sense of vitality and serenity in Fabrice’s new home.
This project serves as a reminder that even when faced with difficulties, working together creatively can be a huge source of joy, and result in spaces that beautifully encapsulate the spirit of a new beginning.
